In today's world, everyone is aware of the need to be eco conscious and make sustainable choices in our lives. We all know only too well the harm that is being done to our environment. Forests are disappearing at an alarming rate, more and more flora and fauna are becoming extinct and animals and people alike are losing their homes and theirs way of life.
Environmental conservation means that you can help to protect the environment and make a difference in some of the regions of the world that need it the most.
According to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) “Climate change means a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods”.
Our program will be in Hohoe and Sovie

Hiring one or two tractors
Transportation to the farm.
Chemicals to preserve the plants from insects.
We encourage the circular economy. A circular economy is based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.
After a year and a half (approximately),
The trunks will have a second life. The strongest ones will go to the logs for electricity pole use for a rural village or town in Ghana. And the other ones will be sold for furniture companies and construction companies.
When the logs are sold (after deducting the additional expenses incurred during the process), the community will be giving half the money of the total logs sold to continue the project (buy more seeds) the other half of the money will go to another town for a similar project.
The purpose of the project is to alleviate poverty in the rural areas and to also minimize urban migration of youths ( especially women and girls)
The total cost of the project is 22,121.58 Schillings or 3.150 Euros each two years.
