Mercy Akuot: Artist, Activist. South Sudanese artist Mercy Akuot uses her music to tell stories from her own life and to make demands for a better life for women and girls. As a survivor of forced marriage when she was only 15 years old, Mercy first told her story publicly at TEDx Kakuma Camp in 2018.
